Jon Westover

Bio

Jon Westover has served as the Associate Vice Provost and Director of Admissions at North Carolina State University since July 2018. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge from over 20+ years of experience in undergraduate admissions from both public and private institutions.

Prior to joining NC State, Jon served as the Senior Associate Director of Admissions at the University of Massachusetts Amherst for thirteen years. He began his career in admissions at Alfred University in 1998 and also served as the Senior Associate Director at the College of Saint Rose.

Throughout his career, Jon has been active in professional organizations serving as the president, treasurer, and chair of the governmental relations committee for the New England Association for College Admission Counseling (NEACAC) and was a former chair of the governmental relations committee for the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC).
