SFair.9142Director: Stacy Fair, M.Ed. Not only dedicated to the Office of Parents & Families Services, Ms. Fair oversees the E. Carroll Joyner Visitor Center, the University Ambassador Program and the North Carolina State University’s annual fall University Open House. Having been with State since 2006,  she has become a stakeholder in many events and activities and is dedicated to making every prospective student, parent, family, and visitor feel right at home when they come to campus. On the academic side, Stacy is pursuing a doctorate degree in Technology Education, and is the proud owner of a converted electric minivan and two electric vehicle charging stations installed in the Joyner Visitor Center parking lot.

Originally from Vermont, Ms. Fowler and her family relocated to Raleigh five years ago, joining the Wolfpack in December of 2012. Today, Ms. Fowler works collaboratively with her team to support Wolfpack parents and families as they navigate the undergraduate college experience in support of their NC State student(s). From large events and information programs to managing web, print and electronic communications, Ms. Fowler and the team of Parents & Families Services, works to ensure every undergraduate student’s support network remain connected to the university.

VIS.2616.2Program Assistant: Valerie Oti, M.Ed. Ever wonder who that friendly voice on the other end of the Help Line was? Now you know. Ms. Oti has assisted thousands of parents who have called the Help Line or emailed their questions and concerns. Additionally, she manages the Very Important Parent Discount Program and is the founder of the Parents & Families Services Volunteer Program.  To date, she has been with North Carolina State University’s Office of Parents & Families Services since 2000 and resides in Raleigh with her husband and daughter.
