Morgan Middleton

Bio

Morgan Middleton wanted to find a profession where he could help people. He found financial aid and has enjoyed that experience for over 17 years. He started his campaign at Saint Augustine’s University right after graduation serving as the Scholarship Coordinator for eight years. He then joined NC State in March 2012 and has been running with the Wolfpack ever since.

Middleton played a large part in increasing the total earned scholarship dollars during his time at St. Aug. As he gained more experience working with the United Negro College Fund, students received almost $400,000 of scholarship dollars in one year. In addition, he counseled students and parents concerning the financial aid and verification process.

Now serving as one of the senior assistant directors of financial aid, Middleton is committed to educating families concerning the financial aid process with a smile. He also oversees state grants, unofficial withdrawals, as well as financial aid for athletes.

Outside of NC State, Middleton enjoys relaxing at home and going to church with his wife, Zakiya. He also loves car detailing, making vehicles look clean.
