Angela Brockelsby has served as associate vice provost and director for Communication, Marketing, and Outreach within the Division of Enrollment Management and Services since 2013.
Angela is an award-winning, creative and detail-oriented communications and marketing executive with cross-functional expertise in organizational leadership, operational and fiscal management, integrated marketing, and strategic communication with a sharp eye for visual design. She has over 16 years of experience in higher education with an excellent track record of cultivating teams, increasing brand awareness, delivering results, and customer satisfaction.
She provides leadership and direction for managing and executing the Division of Enrollment Management and Services (EMAS) broad range of communications, marketing, and community outreach strategies. These strategies promote brand awareness, affect the yield of admitted students; promote continuation and graduation of matriculated students; and provide information for families and prospective students. These efforts also encourage and enhance the University’s mission and strategic direction. Angela also provides guidance and strategic direction to strengthen the quality and quantity of programs offered through Parents and Families Services and Campus Visits.
Angela serves on the Administrative Assessment Council, Council on the Status of Women, and the Physical Master Plan task force at NC State. She is also an active member of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, the Southern Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, and was inducted into the Alpha Gamma Gamma chapter of Kappa Delta Pi – International Honor Society in Education.
