North Carolina State University offers Pre-College Programs in a variety of academic disciplines – each aimed at helping students prepare for college while experiencing life at NC State.

Pre-College Programs give students the opportunity to:

Emerging Scholars Academy

The Emerging Scholars Academy is a six-day residential academic enrichment program located on the NC State University campus. This program is designed for high school students who have a strong interest and appreciation for the African American experience and culture. Native Education Forum

The Native Education Forum is a six-day residential summer program at NC State University where students will live on-campus, get to experience university campus life, gain one university academic credit, become exposed to a college classroom, interact with American Indian faculty, staff and students, as well as obtain assistance with the college application process. To learn more about the Native Education Forum, visit the NEF webpage.
