Parents & Families Weekend 2013

September 27-29, 2013

The Office of Parents & Families Services is excited to present our annual Parents & Families Weekend, September 27-29, 2013. From chocolate fountains to food trucks; carnival games to Varsity football; and painting tunnels to planting trees; this three-day event will offer something for everyone. With a variety of family friendly activities all weekend you are sure to create memories that will last a lifetime. Friday, September 27
Weekend Kick-Off Event
Joyner Visitor Center

No purchase of tickets or registration required.

10th Annual Chocolate Festival
Carmichael Gymnasium
4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Greek Life Welcome & Information Session
McKimmon Center, Room 3  This has event been moved to the E. Carroll Joyner Visitor Center
4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
No purchase of tickets or registration required.

Family Dinner
Fountain Dining Hall
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
$8.75 pp
Tickets can be purchased at the door.

UAB presents Adrenaline Comedian: Brian Rudo 
Witherspoon Student Cinema
7:30 pm – 9:00 pm (Doors open at 7:00pm)
This event is free. Guests must pre-register.
Pre- registration is required.

Saturday, September 28
Game time has been announced for 3:30 pm. Our event will begin at 1:30 pm Please note that Wingate by Wyndham will be offering a free shuttle service to and from Carter-Finley for all hotel guests. Please visit our VIP page for all area discounts offered to NC State parents and families. Unfortunately tickets to the Pre-Game Event & State Football game are SOLD-OUT.
Parents & Families Services Pre-Game Party
Carter-Finley Stadium, Hospitality Areas 12-17
1:30 pm-3:00 pm
Guest have pre-registered and must have wristbands for entry.
 We are excited to announce that the following Food Trucks will be on-site at the Parents & Families Services Pre-Game Party.
NC State v. Central Michigan Football

Kickoff 3:30 pm
Game is sold-out. All ticket holders must bring tickets for entry. We will not have tickets available on site.

Sunday, September 29
Planting Service Project at Bragaw Hall
Meeting at Fountain Dining Hall
9:00 am – 10:30 am
Participation is for those who pre-registered.
